30 years old and have been employed in the same logistics role for 6 years. Went to college at 18 for graphic communications but did not graduate as the major did not suit me well. 1 year gap for “did not graduate” depression. Got hired in my current position right before Covid all because I was in the right spot at the right time. Then got my bachelors degree while working full-time since math was what I was good at and found myself naturally building excel sheets on the job. Since I’ve had my degree for \~2 years, I’ve applied for jobs non-stop: operations analyst, data analyst, “anything” analyst. I must’ve applied for 300+ jobs, with at least 5 different versions of my resume, even custom tailored resumes and cover letters for individual job postings, I haven’t even made it to the interview phase. Friends and family say to keep trying, keep looking but really, really have zero hope at this point.
