My math teacher at a Berufliches Gymnasium (vocational high school) has a PhD in the Philosophy of Mathematics and has published several books with other professors.
Is he actually overqualified for teaching high-school math at this level?
Also: What kind of questions or topics could I bring up with him (during or after class) that might make him like me a bit more as a student? I’m genuinely interested in math
