So first i want to apologize if this post is offensive to anyone or disrespectful towards the field.
actually, i’m not particularly interested in any subject. the reason i chose math as my major is because i’ve always been pretty good at it, and i thought higher level math would be interesting. But after actually getting into more advanced math i still find it boring. I’m doing fine in these advanced math classes, but i just don’t see how they’re meaningful or interesting in any way. How can i get interested in math? or should i just switch out? for context, i am an undergrad at a top US university.
