I'm in year 12 (US 11th grade, we start school 1 year earlier). before this I only recognised identities when they were glaringly obvious like if it said x²-y², otherwise I would Google what to do and couldn't recognise hidden identities on my own, but today I recognised a kinda hidden identity on my own for the first time, (a-b)²|||a²-2ab+b². (btw I mean brag like against my prior self or whatever)
