I know this is not a post about mathematics directly but it's something I struggle with and I figured this would be the best place to get advice on my specific situation.
For some background: I am a grad student and I am currently working on theoretical ml research projects.
So naturally, most of my thoughts and headspace these days are occupied with highly technical math, engineering, and science related concepts.
This combined with my naturally introverted personality style has made it drastically more difficult to hold conversations with pretty much any new person I meet. (let alone a girl)
Idk how yall deeply introspective intellectual technical people get girlfriends man. it baffles me.
P.s. I'll appreciate more nuanced advice that go beyond than just be confident and outgoing. All of that means nothing when you don't really have anything interesting to express.
