Current PhD Students: How are you finding motivation to work on anything?

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick question - how are you working on anything right now, by yourselves? Have you picked up a pen and paper in weeks? I'm just asking because every time I try to do that right now my impulse is: give it to Astra, it will solve it (and that's been right a bunch of times) much faster and spit out 10 different ways to improve the result.

Any ideas? Should I drop everything and work on the riemann hypothesis or some equivalent in my field? Having trouble doing the thing that got me into math in the first place. Is working on paper or at the blackboard dead? Honestly, I have been spending more time doing exercises for random courses or things I'm trying to learn than research these days.
