For some reason my post got removed from the math subreddit, so I’ll try here. I apologize in advance if it’s not the right place.
My 6 year old is obsessed, and I mean OBSESSED, with numbers. Always spouting off cool numbers and number facts. Fibonacci sequence, Graham’s number, googol and googolplex, told me just this morning that 10 duotrigintillion also equals googol and spouted off something about Tree(3) ?? God I don’t know. I can’t keep up with this insatiable thirst for big numbers.
So I humbly ask anyone out there that knows far more than me about math and numbers to tell me something cool I can teach my son. Any fun number or big number or fun fact will do. I’m just a writer and a literature nerd that somehow spawned a number lover.
(I kid you not, he’s sitting next to me right now calculating the Fibonacci sequence in his calculator to see how high he can get before he has to leave for school. And I quote, “I could do this all day!!”)
