I am a permanent math prof and submit my papers to the arxiv 15+ years. Never was my paper put "on hold" there. This year I submitted more paper than usual and also included AI declaration as I support the Leiden declaration (I use AI to implement things in sagemath and for language correction). Now I got two paper on "on hold" for already around 1.5 weeks. Do they now put everything on hold just for having an AI declaration? I see daily paper on arxiv which are clearly AI nonsense but now real papers get put on hold.. did someone experience something similar?
